Amazon's river of boiling water that can melt anything

Every time when you hear the word 'RIVER' the image that floats in front of your eyes is the calm-cool water, the gentle wind where the waves are forming. Actually, We are used to thinking that the river water is cool. But have you ever heard of a river of boiling water? A river in which anything alive would be melted?
Yes, unbelievable but true, the world's only boiling water river is located in the world's largest rainforest, the Amazon. Whether you call it Shanaya-Timpishka or La-Bomba, the tributaries of the Amazon, the world's second-longest river, have such high temperatures that it can melt or kill anything that falls into it!
This hot water river is located at the low forest in the middle of the Peruvian Amazon. The normal temperature of the river is 120–200 Fahrenheit and in some places its depth has gone up to 18 feet. The river water is so hot that if you put your feet in the mud of the river bank, in less than a second it can cause a third degree of burns on your skin.
6.4 km from the Amazon rainforest in Peru. This long river was first discovered by Andres Rujo. Andres is a geo-thermal scientist by profession. As a child, Andres used to hear stories of such heated rivers from his Peruvian grandfather, and when he grew up to be a geo-physicist, he decided to check to see if the stories he had heard as a child were really true. So, He traveled to the Amazon for verification.
In the depths of the Amazon, in Peru, Andre Rujo saw that amazing river. Smoke rises from this four-mile-long river like boiling water. And the carcasses of various animals and birds are lying in the water of the river. They went down to the river hoping to get some water, but they could not return. As soon as you touch this 20 feet deep river, you can feel the warmth of the water.
But why is the river so much heated?
What do you think? Is the river boiling due to a volcano in the vicinity? Scientists thought so at first. Such heated lakes are usually found in the vicinity of active volcanoes. But, surprisingly, the nearest active volcano on the river is 400 miles away. And no underground magma was found in the Amazon jungle.
Scientists have chemically analyzed the water of this river and found that this chemical present in the water is also not the source of this heat. This water is like ordinary rain water.
Then why is the water of this river heated?
Being located in the equatorial region, scientists had the first idea - is the river water heated by the heat of the sun? But in more detailed analysis, they have found that it is not the sun that is responsible for the earth's geothermal energy, or geothermal energy.
If we compare the earth with a human body, then the fault line of the earth, the crack of the tectonic plate can be considered as an artery. These arteries or cracks are usually filled with hot water. And when this stream of hot water is flowing across the earth's surface, we see it as a natural wonder; Such as this boiling river.
According to geologist Andres, who discovered the river, he speculates that the source of the boiling water in the river is not the Amazon, but rather an outflow of water from underground cracks. It points us to the vast energy reserves within the earth!
Surprisingly, in the midst of this boiling water, Andres and his fellow biologists have discovered some new small species that are able to survive even at these extreme temperatures.
The carcasses of many other reptiles and amphibians are often found floating in the river. These animals fall into boiling water and can no longer swim, so hot water enters the body through the mouth and the animal continues to boil inside and out until it dies.
But even then people swim in this river; Especially the indigenous people living in the Amazon. However, not always, when the temperature of the river water decreases after mixing with rain water after heavy rains. Thus they use this water for eating, cooking and other purposes.
There are various superstitions about this river among the local tribals. There are also several oil and gas fields around the river, which scientists fear could have a negative impact on the river and its biodiversity. According to them, all concerned need to be aware now to properly conserve this only river of boiling water in the world.
Andres Rujo has already planned to undertake the "Boiling River Project" to maintain the river and its ecosystem. The purpose of this project is to protect the biodiversity of the region and highlight the significance of the region by stopping indiscriminate deforestation, burning of forests, etc. by the local tribals and oil and gas companies.
This world is a wonderful place, with so much more abundance left behind! That's why the famous journalist and writer Mark Twain said - "Twenty years from now, you will be disappointed to think that you could not do what you could. So leave the safe haven. Travel for discovery, dream and finally discover. ”
